Installation (2009), airsickness bags suspended from inflated balloons, 4 photograms

For a long time, I have been preoccupied with a quality that is difficult to articulate — something that exceeds mere proximity: the way forms, objects, spaces, or presences enter into relationships through an invisible force. While making these works, I was not primarily searching for compositions, but for resonances — subtle connections that are perhaps more deeply felt than precisely explained. I sought to express this idea through airsickness bags suspended from inflated balloons and drifting alongside them, as well as through a photogram series created together with my friend Ferenc Kondász: image situations in which the meaning of objects is not predetermined, but begins to emerge through proximity and interaction.
